John Berkley - Chief Sales Officer and EVP

John Berkley is the Chief Sales Officer & EVP for TRIPBAM. Before joining TRIPBAM, John served for 10 years as the Vice President & General Manager, U.S. Middle Market for American Express Global Business Travel.  In this role, John led the US market segment that served over 4000 companies with annual aggregate travel spend of over $4 billion. In his 25 year career with American Express, John held multiple leadership roles in marketing, supplier relations, and operations.  John lives in Evanston Illinois, just 10 miles north of Chicago, IL.


Jeff Daily - Director, Global Travel
Palo Alto Networks

Jeff Daily, Director of Global Travel at Palo Alto Networks, a Santa Clara, CA based Cybersecurity firm, brings over 28 years’ experience in corporate travel management on both the buyer and supplier side.  Jeff and his team are responsible for managing T&E volume in excess of $50M across 36 countries, establishing and executing the strategies that optimize the Palo Alto Networks program.

Jeff strives to identify strategic opportunities for improvement of efficiencies, savings and optimized processes.  Jeff is a member of the GBTA Accommodations committee  and is serving a two-year term, additionally Jeff was one of the original members of the TAMS group helping to define travel and meeting standards.

Michael Laumanns
Executive Director, Business Travel
Global Sales, North & Central America

Michael Laumanns is a passionate hotelier with an extensive B2B, business travel sales background. Primarily focusing on strategic account management, Michael has held various positions in both a leadership and account management capacity for the segment for 15+ years.

Michael started his hospitality career in hotel operations in France and Germany and relocated to the United States after finalizing his studies in business administration and hotel management at Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University.

After various roles in global hotel sales, Michael joined Accor in early 2014 and currently holds the position of Executive Director, Global Sales, Business Travel.

Michael is based in New York and when he’s not with a client, he enjoys some quality time with his sons Max and Alex and his wife Jessica.

Annette Maag
Global Hotel Lead
Finance & Operations, Global Procurement

Annette Maag is a Global Procurement Strategic Sourcing Professional for IBM Procurement Organization. As Global Hotel Lead Annette is responsible for establishing and implementing the procurement hotel strategy, contracts, and supplier management. Since coming to IBM in 1987 Annette had various positions within IBM's Business Operations division. In 1998 Annette joined IBM’s General Procurement division as Travel buyer responsible for all Travel commodities in the DACH region. EMEA lead roles for Auto Rental, Hotels & Meeting followed before Annette took over the Global Hotel Lead role in 2011. Annette is based at IBM’s Germany Headquarter in Ehningen and lives in the Southern part of Germany close to Stuttgart.
